DAC vs. DMX and where to buy

If you want, you can try building a audio card DAC. They are the cheapest you can go, and there is some open source software that supports it.

you would be mad to buy a scanner like that then use ishow!!!

EVERYONE TRUST ME DO NOT BUY ISHOW

bloody iphone!!!

nokia made an iphone (n91) well over two years ago.

with wi-fi and G3. apple are only just bringing it out!!! WTF

nokia made the n95 with sat nav well over a year ago now, apple are only just bringing it out!! WTF

Soooo back to the TOPIC....

Andy what is the issue with that ishow dac? you keep saying dont buy it, but never say why?

well when playing beam shows or animations using itop/ishow the image is crap. out of shape, tails on animations etc...

when i first started out i didnt know anything that i now do and i thought i had scanner problems. when i got the fb3 i was shocked the difference was something else.

if you draw a circle in itop you get a funny shaped circle. if you use a proper dac you get a proper circle.

let me see what vids i have

here we go a show i made in itop.

if you look at 52 seconds in, that suppose to be a square

it just dont compair to all my other dacs

well you get what you pay for..
thats perfect for the price range and a prety good deal for the hobyist..

For the price, you cant expect much and i will say that just having the computer controlled laser is cool and worth the 150 bucks.. There are better options on the horizon so i agree.. dont buy it..

no thats cos ive used itop/ishow and know how crap it is

if it were me, i would rather keep the money and carrying on saving for something else
