Please remind that 24k is not so beautiful to see ... it appears like a lemon color.
In fact my first try was with 24k gold and the result was not so good.
The best results are obtained with gold 18k or less, because the alloy with copper offers beautiful reddish effects!
It is important also to perform plating with a lot of microns. If the plating is done with insufficient microns, the fingers moisture and the continuosly rubbing around the corners can eat rapidly the golden plating!
