well just finished up my newest laser today! I've had it for a while but was just waiting on the Moh driver to complete the build. it has a very fancy Mrcrouse heatsink a LPC-826 diode and a 568mA Moh Driver. the power out put is 350mW with a 3 element lens which isn't bad! over all I love the look and feel of this laser.

Yeah I've got about 15 builds lined up but no time to do them. All the parts are just laying around ready yo go together at some point. I'm sure as summer winds down I'll start to complete them.

hmm, i just finished my lpc-826 build. it is usb powered and only runs at 200ma for extended diode life... this setup is purely temporary while i wait for my host... easily burns when focused and can light matches...

Thanks guys, I love the host and haven't seen any others like it yet? And is that direct driven by USB?? I don't see any driver so how do you figure 200mA

haha Mohgasm drivers are tiny! They fit in the aixiz module, and i tested the driver it started outputting at 196mA and after about 10 seconds ended outputting exactly 200mA. the run cycle is very long, i have run it for 3 minutes and it didnt even get warm! The heatsink is a C6 heatsink also purchased from mohgasm.

Hey that looks fantastic! Great idea with the ribbed heat sink, GITD rings and focus adapter. Very impressed +1

568mA? If you lemme ask, there is something written behind the diode, between the pins?
I've bought a LPC-826 and it was supposed to have mitsubishi's logo behind, but it didn't, and it led'd when I fed 550mA to it.
I don't really know if all LPC-826's can take this current...

Great laser... I really like the focus ring... Who made this host?

Thanks guys! yeah I'm not sure about what was on the back side of the diode didn't really look, but they came from Cajun lasers about a month of so ago. I got two and both handle 568 with no problems, and both do 350mW with a 3 element lens. the other is in a c6 host.

also the host isn't custom but the heatsink was made by mrcrouse.

Just to let you know, Ive had much better luck with the acrylic lenses for 650 nm. Three element lenses even coated for red, give a much lower output. When I measured my 650 with an acrylic, it actually gave the same out put as with a G2, admittedly it wasnt a 650 G2 though. If you havent tried it you should see a fair bit of extra power... ;)

interesting I very well might have to give that a shoot and see what the out come it. Thanks for the tip!

I love how the heatsink is visable through the body. Very nice build indeed.

Hey buddy, nice job!
Gotta love that ribbed heat sink peeking out at you.
The last photo could be titled "The weapons of today & tomorrow",Very futuristic looking.
I'd rep ya if I could!

there was absolutely nothing written on the back of mine, so i think its normal. anything over 500mA for these diodes seems to be pushing it very hard.
