From what I heard from DTR directly: There's no point to the 3-element glass lens, as it isn't as good as the original acrylic for this wavelength. Of course, the extra pass of the G-2 matter, but I don't care for the divergence. It's much worse than the acrylic.

Well there are no 3.8mm Krytons, so these won't work with that host.

I haven't tried it with acrylic, I'll try it.

There's good news! MrCrouse is modifying 9mm krytrons to fit 3.8mm in module setups! I wish I knew about this before...

How much is he charging for that adapter? I guess I will have to order a 9mm one. Unless Matt is going to make a 3.8mm head?

I have no idea. But, it's not an adapter. You would have to ship you're 9mm head to him to machine out on his lathe, so as to fit a standard Axis sized module...AKA the PL520 package from DTR..
