Hi,
Just made this 510 module heat sink and focus adapter . Bowtie found these connectors and he did a thread on his mod with a threaded bushing. I was intrigued by it so i ran with it. Well here it is might do some Copper sinks to. The threading die is a huge 2 inch diameter so i made my own floating die holder for it from 2-1/4 inch Aluminum stock.

Enjoy Rich:)

Nice work Rich. Looking forward to seeing more of these. Copper would be nice. Maybe a slip over focus adapter in the works?

Hi,
Thanks BT you inspired this madness LOL !!
Hi D,
Yes the thought is inevitable will do one in Copper and Aluminum. That would be nice to hide the set screw..

Glad to see you working with these, IMO, the 510 adapters are a worthwhile alternative to the traditional fixed host/heatsink route, especially for the budget concious builders. :yh:

Hi BT,
Yes i agree and possibly in Copper . Oh Den said it would be nice to have a focus adapter to hide the set screw well i went to the shop and gave it a shot. Now i have to make a Copper sink for it.

Thanks Ep and BM,
They aren't to easy to make , but i think because this is a prototype and i got the bugs out so . I will start making these in CU and AL , Might even make a Brass one for the lower powers.Brass shines like Gold but heat dissipation is POO POO .. But with a copper sleeve i think it will fly .. Thank you guys for the nice comments always
