Yes i will say the interwebs has made me a very cold person.
guy gets shot in street my first thought is.
Is there any blood on cloths?
Yes (I am going to shoot him back close enough to hit me with spatter.)

And as far as creepy goes you need to go find the pain Olympics and then tell me what creepy and disturbing is.
