Confirmed CNI GB [CLOSED---PAYMENT]

Re: Confirmed CNI GB [End 14 June 2013]

Hey ZRaffle got your PM, I will edit that info as soon as I can get to a computer. +1 if'n I can :)

Re: Confirmed CNI GB [End 14 June 2013]

Okay, I just finished going through the rest of my PM's and here is how it stands.

TonyT is worried about closing early.
Tman and Mattronium haven't responded yet.

Everybody else is good to go for closing early as long as we can get the information regarding total cost once shipping/pp fees/insurance are accounted for.

Once we have all of that information, since tonyt may have issues, I would propose we close early, but maybe a little closer to our original date to allow him more time to get moneys together. And of course still waiting to hear from Mattronium and Tman.

Put me down as a maybe for PGL-III-C-532-800mW... we'll see how much interest pops up before the order. I'd be interested at the 10-count price.

On the bright side, I get to see the 800mW+ greens and 100mW+ 671nm coming out of this, first hand, so I'll know what it'll be like when I get my own.

These will be metered and done just like DJNY's 589nm GB. A number will be assigned to each, and I will post the number, and output of the unit. Post the number of the unit you want, first come, first serve. I feel like this is the fairest way to do this, aside from drawing a number out of a hat, and having a list on the side with user name to number, that way it's still random. Any preference?

I mentioned that due to the 561nm only reaching 20mW and the 671nm going as high as 400mW. Since wannaburn was around here I figured id mention it ;)

How much does the diode put out?

From Thorlabs, there are 5, 10, and 15mW 670nm diodes. Single mode.

You're going to see a lot of various WL red builds from me for the next few months, what with that and the 622nm c-mount (requirming 5C as we both know) and the 1W 680nm and 750mW 690nm diodes also available from the same source. Both cmount needing 20C.

We'll talk, pm me ;)

Rog, I'll await further guidance from them.

I'll get an email at to CNI and forward that to the OP so everyone is trackin on that. Don't want to blind side anyone.

TonyT is worried about closing early.

I'm only worried as i don't actually get paid until the 15th.. But as i said i could be makin a little on the side this week so it all should be ok.

Re: Confirmed CNI GB [End 14 June 2013]

Tmam said he is good to go whenever so we just need to hear from mattronium now.

Re: Confirmed CNI GB [End 14 June 2013]

It is perfectly fine with me if we end this GB early.

Re: Confirmed CNI GB [End 14 June 2013]

I'm actually going to drop out, I don't trust having ~$1 left in may PP, I'll be in for the next GB.

Re: Confirmed CNI GB [End 14 June 2013]

So if tonyt can go for ending early, we can get this thing going! Just let us know what's up tony. And of course we should be hearing back from CNI soon.

I like the drawing option, that seems most fair.

 I know of CNI's rep. they should all be upto spec and fairly stable.

but i'll go with the flow. Drawing is very fair!!!

Yeah random, the first come first serve isn't really fair for those of us who can't be on all the time.

Re: Confirmed CNI GB [End 14 June 2013]

Agreed. I know Bloom has to measure the output just in case, but Bloom, I'd recommend you ask a friend to package the lasers so that there's no "playing favorites"... Or at least "randomize" them.

Re: Confirmed CNI GB [End 14 June 2013]

I could try to get a friend to package, but probably just randomized.

Re: Confirmed CNI GB [End 14 June 2013]

Early response from CNI. We all good?

I'll split up the insurance with the shipping to make it even for everyone.

CNI said:
4*PGL-III-C 671nm 100mW/Unit USD125.00(total USD500.00)
5*PGL-III-C 532nm 500mW/Unit USD210.00(total USD1050.00)
5*PGL-III-C 532nm 800mW/Unit USD390.00(total USD1950.00)
1* 5mW 532nm GLP/Unit USD39.00
The shipping cost is USD235.00
The insurance charge is USD25.00
So the total price is USD3799.00

Re: Confirmed CNI GB [End 14 June 2013]

So 235+25=260/15=17.34 Extra per Unit?

So 671nm Lasers will be: 142.34 + 3% = 146.61 USD
And 500mW 532nm will be: 227.34 + 3% = 234.16 USD
And 800mW 532nm will be: 407.34 + 3% = 419.56 USD
And 5mW 532nm GLP will be: 56.34 + 3% = 58.03 USD

Sound right? And then we will pay shipping costs to you once you have the lasers and know how much each shipping cost will be?

Thanks,
Isaac
