Sweet, at this rate blu-rays will be cheaper and cheaper, and people will have blu-ray sights on their guns, how freakin' cool is that!!
 
400mW is going to be the pulsed power. CW will be much lower, but should still be great.
The 6x drive is said to use 250mW pulses, and the people here are driving 6x diodes at slightly more than 100mW CW. But i don't know what diode the LG uses.

Of course we are not going to know the max safe power for these babies until many people kill them, but at the current price i think everyone would prefer to play it safe. On the other hand, i wouldn't be surprised, if some of the future 8x diodes would be pushing out close to 200mW CW.


I just hope they drop in price soon! As it is, i have to decide between >100mW of Blue Ray or >400mW of green.. :'( And i want both! :)
 
ouch 15 grand i could buy a lot of different lasers for that price i'd have Jack make me a monster HA HA HA :P :P
