Colour Switcher/Fader For Spiro Project

Yupp, and it's pre programmed. :)

I bought the full kit for other experimenting on my LED-lights at home, but you could probably just get the chip and add a 7805-regulator and reverse the polarity on the opto coupler's LEDs. Whichever you find more easy /or cheap.

Right well this means hardly anything to me so easier is out of the question here... Fancy building me one? Haha.

I made the schematic with parts list so anyone who want one can make their own. I could make you one but it's allot of work.

Wouldn't it be theoretically possible to rip off the controller of one of these chinese colorchanging led things and opamp the outputs up for analog modulation?

Be my guest, I'm not any good with op amps and I wanted a common ground. 99% of the LED faders are common anode.

I to have a interest in this project. I machined some labby hosts and some mounts for optics but that is as far has I've gotten. I wanted a controller that would sync to music so I thought about using this controller.
Take a look and let me know what you think.

The controller can modulate banks of LEDS so I'm guessing it could be hooked up to a TTL type driver.
The 3rd party software says it will sync up to music played but i haven't ordered one yet. Seems they are out of stock ATM.
I'll be following this thread with interest, if I find a good schematic for the drivers I will mill some out and I'm willing to trade PCB's for any help with the project. I also made quite a few mounts I'm willing to trade as well. Let me know if your interested.

Wow this is exactly what I'm looking for to complete my RGV spyro. You can bet I'll be back here when I've got the $$$ and will be askin lots of questions and pickin brains.

^The schematic that FireMyLaser drew up (above) for an LM317 circuit with low-frequency modulation would be a cheap and effective solution for you Kenom. You might not have to wait long, and you may already have most of the parts laying around.
