CNI makes 589nm handheld lasers!

I am pretty sure the color will look extremely close but the same mW's s/b brighter. -Glenn

Well I still think I am going to get a 5mW pen. lol I just love yellow that much. :D Will this be available in the next CNI GB?

Yes, it can be bought on GB 7, (to be ordered from CNI near the month's end). -Glenn

Once again, the prices confuse me. Why is it $635 for a 5mW pen and $615 for a 10mW flashlight?

Great, expect an order from me for one of the pens then. Can't wait to compare this to my 593.5nm and see if there is any difference at all.:D

PGL-III-C-589nm-10mW/Unit USD615.00

Cheaper than the 5mw pen and twice the power

but but but but, its more power :)

yeah I had kinda hoped that the pens would go up to 10mW, but guess not. I really like to carry my lasers around in my pocket and the large flashlight styles just are a struggle lol

You should start carrying a man bag or a backpack. I always carry a back pack pretty much everywhere I go. Lasers get scratched up in the pocket. Plus if you don't have a lens cover small particulate matter gets all over the lens.

yeah my old CNI greenie got scratched to death being in my pocket with keys and coins, lens was also chipped and full of dust rabbits lol now I keep them rolled in tissue so they don't get mauled

Wow, a 80 mW yellow laser for less than $1,000? That seems almost too good to be true.

However, I think this is the real deal since CNI is generally an honest company (CNI has sent out underpowered lasers before, but I think this is very rare).

Yeah in the most case CNI sends out over spec lasers. I would not be surprised if my 80mW yellow hits 100mW when I get it. But first to sell some more stuff. Come on people buy my riegle.

I don't think so. 532 nm is closer to the peak visibility wavelength of 555 nm.
