Cni gb

Re: CNI GB starting

I was thinking about one of their LPM's. Do we have pricing on those? The one I was looking at was the PM-XXX-3000 (desktop). Thanks

I just looked at their power meters....

http://www.cnilaser.com/power meter.htm

They are all Optical Silicone Sensor heads.... which need compensation for different Laser Wavelengths..
and it does NOT have the ability to test 405nm wavelengths...

You would be better off getting a Thermopile Based LPM.. 8-)

Re: CNI GB starting

I'm also up for a PGL-III-C-532nm-500mW if the price is right ;)

Hey Cyparagon, I'll find out and let you know. I wish there was a Red, Green and Blu-ray ava. though, Rog8811 is still the maker of the ultimate mix beam unit!

Re: CNI GB starting

I may also be into the PGL-III-C-532nm-500mW.

How would I know it's not underpowered or mostly IR?
Do they provide some kind of certificate or power test graph?
I wouldn't mind the extra $ and extra couple of days for that.

CNI is one of the best chinese laser manufacturers out there. Their lasers are always overspec and IR filtered...

Hey Glenn, I could possibly be interested in a MPL-F-266 depending on the discount you can get.

Wow! I sure hope we can get you one of those! I have been dying to try one of those out on some mineral samples! -Glenn

Hehe, I wouldn't play with a 266nm laser unless I was outside the room ;) I would recommend a 355nm(safer non-ionizing wavelength) if you're gonna be fluorescing minerals

Yes I know what you mean, proper skin and eye protection is required!  :o :o :o  BTW, I already use UV C for killing germs and mold when the house is free of the chance of exposure to pets and other people!

But shorter waves will fluoresce some things that won't @ 355 nm !

Re: CNI GB starting

I'd be in for a +/- 5mW CNI (LG) 594nm!

Next color for me after that is 632nm - let me know as final pricing comes in - I'm there.

Re: CNI GB starting

I would probably be interested in either the PGL-III-635 (maybe 100mw?), or the MRL-I-635 labby....(not sure the price on the labbies but I'd imagine they're cheaper than the pointers.

Sorry, but I have to back out of the GB.. :(

No worries, I think we have enough buyers to get a great deal going! :)
