Cni gb #7

Yes, I think I got good advice that in dealings with PP and GC we should avoid using all these: CNI, LPF, Laser, mW and any obvious model names. It is sad that some would hurt legitimate businesses, but I am sure there are spoilers out there. Thanks and best Wishes! Happy New Year All!

Can we please get some 457nm pricing?

I might be interested in a 500mW+ 457nm lab unit... if the price is right ;)

Thanks Daedal, here's the CNI quotation:
MBL-F-457nm-500mW with 10% stability analog 10k/Unit USD3750.00
It does not include shipping and if used, PP fee. Happy New Year! -Glenn

Looks like "someone" , Not one of USa, is putting pressure on PP. Ebay went the way along with DX. Who might be doing this?
Ebay is allowing the sales of those really sharp ceramic knives. Those could be dangerous and one seller advertised that a metal detector won't see them. Hmmmmmmm........

It sucks for these group buys and stuff, but I'm kind of glad it's keeping higher powered lasers off the "general" market, where stupid kids could buy them and abuse them. It's not even like there's a price barrier for a lot of those higher powered greenies.

What I don't look forward to is some terrorist incident involving lasers, and I'm sure it's going to happen eventually. It will be the end of these laser sales without licenses.

Get 'em while you can guys. The glory days will be over soon.

Is there anything like a delivery guarantee incase whatever is ordered doesn't get past customs?

I believe CNI actually has real accession numbers for the lasers they ship out, as they meet FDA standards, rather than just shipping out packages and hoping customs doesn't inspect the contents.

I meant Australian customs.

How did the 532nm PGL's from the last GB hold up? Any specs or info on those?

Yea it's annoying when PayPal locks your account. To avoid that, you might want to send the invoices out to each individual, so that you know for sure that they don't include any of those key words.

We got no green PGL III's on the last delivery, and I am slow to excuse the sending of 10 bad ones in the 4 earlier shipments, but I am willing to see another PGL III as soon as CNI gets up the nerve to send a good one!

BTW, I added more prices to post #6 -Glenn

Every time I ask about the PGL-III-M-473 models, they advise me that the PGL III's are a better choice, don't they want to sell these?

O.K. got them now:
PGL-III-M-473nm-30mW/Unit USD520
PGL-III-M-473nm-50mW/Unit USD680
