CNI GB 5th time!

You told me you had some CR2 batteries, Glenn, and that you could send them to me. So when speaking of batteries, do you have a charger for these kind of batteries you would be willing to sell? It would be easier to get it along with my aquarius-5 than to order from DX separatley.

Hey lazerguy, I only have my 1 personal charger for CR2 batts, but I should get another couple from DX as I have 6 more friends getting the GLP 473 nm 5 mW units that are now a great deal fron CNI!

Did the 473nm 5mW units drop down to 295$ shipped? Or do you still neeed more orders?

-Greg

Hey friends, I was very happy to get the Blue GLP 5 mW rated for the $315 shipped, just look at the cost of the Aquarius -10 from LaserGlow list = $989 ! So, the price for the blue lasers and the PGL III blue , yellow and green are well discounted and great values imho. The only units I was trying to get a better qty deal on were the yellow 593.5 nm pens and the CNI green pens. I need to sell a 1/2 doz or so more to lower those costs, but with just 10X GLP 532 nm 150 mW rated pointers, the cost is currently about $275 shipped, while if we ever get a dozen or so of any green GLP's, I would see if these could go a bit lower. I get 4-6 GLP 532 nm 50 mW from time to time, and they don't budge on the price so, it takes a larger qty apparently. Thanks friends! -Glenn

Man I want one soooo bad lol. Im gonna re check the funds after I pay the bills tomorrow. Might have to order one. Especially since yours are cherry picked Im sure it would be around 10mW. I should just ebay some stuff but Ill get back to ya Glenn.

Thanks again for doing this.

-Greg

No corey, not exactly, we have the "C" battery PGL III unit for $355, the smaller PGL III unit is $30 more and uses a 18650 battery, I have never asked for the Nova Alpha design, but it uses 2X AA batteries and few would request that design IMHO. Thanks! -Glenn

sorry for all the noob question but i have never done a group buy before..if i want to get one of th ALPHA models could i get it through this group buy?and do you happen to have a price list? Thanks corey

Alpha models are the 2xAA PGL-III-A design. They're good lasers, but not as popular with the other models available. If you want one like that, consider getting the 18650 model instead.

New offers of Blue PGL III laser prices!
PGL-III-C-473nm-5mW/Unit USD335.00 PGL-III-C-473nm-10mW/Unit USD360.00
PGL-III-C-473nm-20mW/Unit USD480.00
For USA insured priority shipping add about $20 PP fee not included. -Glenn

How much would the PGL-III-A-532 150mW-200mW cost (the 18650 Portable Green Laser, not the RPL style)? Does CNI sell pen style lasers over 5mW?

ZRTMWA, I can check again, but I know right of the top that pen type is available for near any output from 1 mW to 150 mW and The PGL III -C- 532 nm for a 18650 battery is about $355. I'll check on the 150 mW rated, both will be over the rated they are spec for.

Hey Sawt, er, Revolution, the 150 mW rated pen is highest rated from CNI, but the rep says it'll do about 175 mW, and so far they actually under promise and over deliver, so it's about $300 before shipping and PP fees, let me know old pal, I want to see ya get one if at all possible! -Glenn

$355?!?!?! One of us must be looking at the wrong thing. I was quoted about a week ago (with no mention of a group buy) that the PGL-III-A-532 200mW USD250.00/pc. Here is a link to the laser. It is the one in the bottom right picture.

http://www.cnilaser.com/PDF/PGL-III-A-532.pdf

Now that I reread your post I see that the laser you are mentioning has a C in the serial. Also can you show me a link to the pen types? I can only find the 5mW pens.Thanks.

ZRTMWA, I posted many of the PGL III prices on the first post, the costs are for the C battery units 100, 200, 300 mw etc, I also state in that post the 18650 battery option on those is about $30 more. This has been questioned before as the laser is smaller when made for the 18650 battery, but smaller is more difficult to build and does cost a bit more. Also, the 100 mW rated unit will be somewhere near 150 mW actual output.
I believe the >5 mW "pen units" are not on a web data sheet, and when they are provided the label on them reads: This unit is sold only as a component for incorporation into other equipment and does not comply with FDA regulations" So there you are ordering an OEM module and not a laser which is in a final lawfully use able form for use in the USA as is. -Glenn

I think the one-true model number system works as follows:

PGL-III = 2x C-batteries, 5-500mW
PGL-III-C = 18650 batteries, 5-500mW
PGL-III-A = 2x AA-batteries, 5-200mW
PGL-III-D = Double-sided stage-dancer lasers

(Source)

So the C-battery pricing Scopeguy20 is quoting for is the PGL-III model, and the 18650-battery types are PGL-III-C models.
