hey have a spare 473nm cni laser head from a bulk deal I bought a while back. I corrected the output on this unit to put out roughly 30mw(current lpm test to follow).
like to get $60 shipped in the conus
will post pics when I have time but this is a b&w tek unit for those familiar

Does it have/need a power supply? How big is it? Pics? Wtb.
Edit: SOOOOOOOOOOO Want to buy

Pics?
Edit: also, what's the maximum and nominal current you recommend for the laser diode?

These aren't as simple as just powering the diode. 473's are sensitive and need precisely adjusted temperatures for the diode and crystals to run properly.

oooooh I totally forgot about how temp sensitive the crystals are. Sorry, but I gotta pass

^I do have some extra drivers on hand, I could send you one at the cost of shipping. You'll just need a 5V source capable of 5A. A power supply ripped from an old computer could do this.

Hey, thank you for the offer, styro. So those are just for the TECs, right? Because I'm not too sure I could home brew a driver for the laser diode. I know how to do regular diode lasers, but this seems to be beyond me

Nope it's for the whole thing! You just plug the head into the driver, and then feed the driver 5V. Simple as that!
