CNI 450nm laser pointer

It most likely uses the OSRAM PL 450 diode just like the O-Like 450 50mw laser. These appear to have dropped in price, and they may now be in mass production, If anyone knows the story feel free to share it.

Can you site your source for the fact that the O-Like laser is using an OSRAM diode?
(as opposed to the Opnext or the Nichia single-mode blues?)

The OSRAM blue (from my limited experience with the diode that I lost) is actually substantially higher in wavelength than the 445s we're used to (like 455-460). From what I've heard however, the same is not necessarily true of the Opnext (from Rayfoss) or the Nichia single modes.

The O-like site is down. Here is the Osram stats.

c0ld, I will buy one of these, period. Just let me know when and where I can. The power output does not matter to me.
In fact, if you could put me in touch with Laura I'd love to do the first review.

Hi aryntha,
Did you notice that most of this thread is over 3 months old?
Avery is probably not following it anymore.
You might just try contacting CNI directly.
