@ IE you get the same procedure as kadath for your underspec lasers. Which is also nice because you can get 20% back
I wasn't going to bring this up before, but those are not the terms of the GB that this GB, or the original one, were set forth with.
Directly from Kevin, and in the OP:
If someone’s laser is defective and he can prove that, we will replace that laser for free, no problem including postal mail cost and new laser. We can sign the contract.
1. I certainly have no problem taking a video, to prove that the lasers are not up to spec. Would taking the cells fresh off of the charger suffice? I need to pick up a new multimeter if not.
2. Nowhere does he say that lasers have to be sent to him for secondary verification first.
I am stringently opposed to this, because it will drag the process out for a very long time. At least 1 week for the lasers to be shipped back to him, a questionable amount of time for the lasers to be tested by him, more time while new lasers are made, and more time for them to be sent out.
Stick the chinese new year celebration, and backlog in there and I'll be lucky to have replacements before April.
Please ask Kevin for a more reasonable counter proposal.
I'll take a video of the lasers tonight.
