Here is a beautiful tribute to ALL of our armed forces at CHRISTMAS TIME

I received this in an email yesterday... but I think I've read this before. Someone probably sent it to me last year.

Yes, Thanks, Rob.

My son is a Marine. Signed up on 9/10/01. He's been to the desert several times. Yeah, there are many children in faraway places who can enjoy Christmas because of these soldiers.

He loves his job.

Thanks guys, glad you all liked it. I thought it would really hit home this time of year, especially to families that have service personnel. I also have a son in the military ROOSL. He's in the ARMY, but THANK GOD, hasn't been deployed,............ yet !!! rob

I got a bit teary eyed I will admit. Thanks for posting that Rob. Definitely one of my favorite poems now!

Every time I read it, it brings tears to my eyes........... rob

You're not alone... and I'm in Canada and I don't have a kid in the military..
It's all about honor and what needs to be done and who's doing it for us...

My father's in the Navy, he's been active duty for 25 years. He lives in Monterey, CA (my parents are still together...this is just what happens with the Navy.) He's getting a Ph.D down there now. He's been to the Middle East quite a lot, but luckily not since the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars started.

The GOOD LORD has certainly smiled upon your DAD. My DAD was in the NAVY also, during WWII, mostly in the SOUTH PACIFIC............. rob
