So Jake and DayOfhadows both started GB's for roughly the same item; then Jake said (in this thread) he'd cancel his GB; then before Day got his order made, Jake shows up with 50 units and puts them on sale.

I haven't checked the exact dates of all this, but it sounds screwy to me - did Jake sabotage this GB by going around it? I don't know - but the question is worth asking. Group Buys are getting more competitive than cooperative lately. There was one instance - 6X sleds - where cooperation was had after some protest; but that was an exception.

Jake - how's it look to you?
DayOfShadows - do you feel wronged?

I don't know how current either list is, I just saw the obvious discrepancy in that statement so pointed it out. Did Jake drop out? he's on this list... were other people who show on Jake's, formerly on this list? I just don't know.

i did bc i got some all ready from a deal,this GB can still go on but not as many will be bought
 
No im ok with him selling them, he started the original idea i just found a better supplier, or at least a cheaper one, if you want to back out PM me so i can take you off the list. i need to get final numbers soon because people are getting anxious for there hosts  :) I will update the list as i get PMs so far its just Jake that has notified me.
 
I am still in for my 10. My word is always as good as I can make it be 8-)

If I end up with surplus because of timing, so be it. Someone will get a deal.

Cool, I'm glad everyone is ok with this. I don't mean to poke my nose into other peoples' business unnecessarily... sometimes I'm just grumpy :P

Jake just bailed on me and several others.  How much longer does it look like this one is going to take to get going?

Just happened to me too. Let's get this show on the road and get these things ordered.
 
well if everyone can pool there money together THIS weekend then i will order them, otherwise i was just told the Chinese new year is coming up and the companys will be close for almost a MONTH!
 
I will start takeing payments now, BUT if everyone doesnt pay by Saturday night at aprox 11 PM i will refund all and either we'll have to wait till the end of the Chinese new year OR i might have to close the GB ( i hope we can just wait but i am going on a long trip RIGHT after the new year is done so i think i might give some else my supplier and they can take over for me).
