DHL is usually pretty quick... they will probably be able to get it there within a week.. You will get a tracking number with any DHL service to anywhere..

I used to work with a guy from Capetown :p He talked funny.. He was always having braai's with boerewors and going on about how the robots slow him down in the morning :p
 





I would be in for multiples if this weren't my first set and I had more experience,.. I still need to find a lower end one for my Laser Harp Kit from Things,.. anybody know a good place?

depending on how cash flow is I might be able to chip in to move this and flip the extra set in the BST.
 
you know for the laser harps i was surprised you could not use one of those hex mirrors form the scanners.
They have a position sensor.
You dont need x and y for just a line of dots.
A precision rotating mirror such as the hex mirrors would work great.

I do not get much activity over there.
And the members over there also have accounts here so when they do give interest they log on here.

once i pay the invoice thats it.
Im going to have him send me 3 invoices.
1 for the current order the other 2 with a few more added units shipped to the states.

Yep that's pretty much all we do - Eat boerewors, watch rugby and complain about our political situation! Well, not entirely true but most live up to that stereotype.

It's very interesting living here.
Lots of culture diversity.. black, white, coloured, all living together in a pre-1994 segregated country under 'apartheid'.
Still much inequality, hatred and racism but things are getting better and I think will improve.. But all we can do is hope.

There are still serious issues with services like no basic education and sanitation - while I sit at home with a pc, cellphone, drinking clean water, car and a good school. Makes me think about how lucky I am..

A few weeks back I went to a march demanding the government supply all schools with textbooks - some students are writing finals without even knowing what the curriculum is on due to the government's failure to uphold the constitution.

I am so sorry I am getting totall carried away here.. :wtf:

Don't be sorry. It's good to know how things are in every country. :)
 
I am waiting on final response from the supplier.
Once the payment is sent that is the last date.
It may take a day for him to get it.
As to keep costs down we are going a different route than normal.
You guys you paypal to pay me. i then use Western Union to pay them.
So if you dont see big red letters saying no more payments then you still have time.

just saw that with western union there no dispute or getting your money back its designed to send money to family members quick

if this is the only route you can take make sure you save tons of email etc from the seller talking about agreements on refunds if sent faulty products etc

just a heads up western union is no paypal

Also, it would be nice to know if these will come tuned at 30k. Tuning isn't the easiest thing to do as far as I heard :/
