Yep that's pretty much all we do - Eat boerewors, watch rugby and complain about our political situation! Well, not entirely true but most live up to that stereotype.
It's very interesting living here.
Lots of culture diversity.. black, white, coloured, all living together in a pre-1994 segregated country under 'apartheid'.
Still much inequality, hatred and racism but things are getting better and I think will improve.. But all we can do is hope.
There are still serious issues with services like no basic education and sanitation - while I sit at home with a pc, cellphone, drinking clean water, car and a good school. Makes me think about how lucky I am..
A few weeks back I went to a march demanding the government supply all schools with textbooks - some students are writing finals without even knowing what the curriculum is on due to the government's failure to uphold the constitution.
I am so sorry I am getting totall carried away here.. :wtf:
