These would be made from 6061 aluminum and have m2 0.4 threads
Price: 12$ if order total is 50 or 9$ a unit in an order of 100
The lead time to get them made would be around 18 days.
Already tested version of this mount can be found here

I am, thinking of selling them for around 3 for 25$.
depending on much time it takes to make them and the cost of the set screws.

3 for 25$ would be amazing ..

i assume you are using tension springs?

EDIT also dimensions?

But if anyone has any advice on building this like there to get super fine tap and setscrews.
(the set screws need to have the point at the end not flat)

wow, CMI for at least one set of three at that target price!

Count Me In for a set as well-

if your screws will have knurled knobs & fine threads---That would be a big plus, many have told me to avoid allen wrench etc types. ..

afaik dichros/mirror alignment is a more or less neverending process of fiddling which is tedious enough w/o the hassle of allen wrenches. Just finding a .9mm wrench was a PITA.
so tiny i fear it could get stripped and rendered useless very easily.

good luck and thanks for your effort, If I can find any parts for you I will send a link--thanks Kiyo....len

I'd just search around for some regular fine threaded screws you can buy, then use some plastic nuts that are slightly smaller than the screw diameter so that they can cut their own threads into the nut. Cutting high TPI screws is pain enough without having to also try and bore out the hole for it.

For that price, some simple set-screws should be fine for mirror adjustment.

i was thinking of using 3m 0.5 threaded.
And these are not flex mounts so there will be no stripping them.
Once you set them you need to add small daps of holding glue.
But if you guys have some links i would love to read them.

I can get you all the springs you want free. They are the same ones found in all AixiZ blank modules for the lens tension, if they will work.

For tiny springs check out cigarette lighters, don't smoke? need some empty lighters? I'lll send some your way (I always knew they would be usefull for something and I still save them, check out my avatar! that is a cigarette lighter being hit... I earned a nice chunk of change from a video of that)

For the screws: check out McMaster-Carr for some fine threads... they have a wide variety of tips, pointed tips as you mentioned and "ball bearing"? tips.. the only thing is is that (as mentioned above) the adjustment is with a ridiculously small sized allen wrench. there has got to be some way around that!

Well, he's going to need a steady source of springs or whatnot. I've experimented with using neodymium magnets as the "spring" that holds the tension. Maybe an inset area can house the magnet for that purpose.

this is were im getting my springs
SS3-26 - EXTENSION SPRING<br />(Long Length) - Part Characteristics | Century Spring Corp.
ive decided to not go with the ball bearing design due to the extra costs vs 3 screws.
i would love to find a set of m9 0.5 thread screw for cheap.
That would be great as i have the tap but that may be a bit large size for these mounts.
i found precision setscrews with threaded brass housings for them but they are way to expensive 8$ for 1 and this will need 3.
So i want something machine made and well cheap

Metric Class 12.9 Socket Head Cap Screw M3 Thread, 22mm Length, 0.50mm Pitch
22 100
91290A124† 4.60
so its 4.60$ for 100 units cheap.
Also REMEBER! these are not flex mounts you will have no problem with the screws the only thing giving resistance is a spring.
These should be decently easy to adjust, vs a set of mm1 its not as easy but for the price its hard to compare.

updated op go read!!!!!
Sry if this looks like a 2x posting this is just an update from a long ago to what i can currently offer also up on its own GB thread.
