G'day,

A while ago i bought a nixie watch from Cathode Corner id like to share with you guys.

  • Its a bit larger in diameter and height than my Kopriso nixie watch
  • It has a tilt sensor which tills the tubes when to display the time.
  • It doesn't have backlight LED's like Kopriso nixie watch.
  • I put a new watch band on to match the Kopriso nixie watch :D

a few comparison pictures:

In my opinion its not as good as the Kopriso, but at a 1/3 of the price of the Kopriso, i still love it.

Thanks for looking,

Fiddy.

Oh man these are awesome! I've been wanting one for ages.

Hey Fiddy, any idea of a good place for a binary display watch? I've done a lot of fleabay searches and only found two genuine makes; the $$$ 01 brand stuff and a cheap chinese $7 one that most reviews says dies within two months.

Wait, a 7 dollar nixie watch? With real tubes?
I need that link. Sounds like a food start for a dig project or mod, not to mention cheap tubes.

Not a nixie, a binary watch. I ask Fiddy since I know he has a knack for finding awesome stuff. If you search "binary watch" on fleabay you'll get a billion results of led watches with binary in the title as a hot word that aren't actually binary.

Wow, thanks Sigurthr, now i want a large binary wall clock :D

i had a look on ebay, theres lots of 'binary watches' but they are for dummys cause its just got a led for every digit, not true binary which should have a maxinium of 4 leds for each digit if that makes sense.
