Buying green 150mW - ANY. Help please!

Because every laser my friend has bought has been over spec by 200mw+ he bought the 1w and got 1.34W so i figured its one of the cheaper reliable site but i am starting to favor dragon lasers
 





I'm not trying to be smart but how did they or you know its true output?
 
Please heed Things's advice. Stay away from lasers if you plant to toy with it. Go find something else to play with.

EDIT: should i get a higher power and diff color for cheaper or stick with green and get 100 mw idk i want brightness and burn power :/ but im poor

ik what i posted but why do you have one? i know its a hobbie its interesting and well very colorful but... do u not "play" with it cus if u dont... u never use it unless it cutting some tape can ultimately save ur life or make u income lol... lasers r to me and the people i know a type of toy a thrilling hobbie used to bring joy of some kind to a person. now if you said u have a 6,000W laser cutting machine then no that isnt a toy its obviously used for cutting metals even though i have seen people cut pizza with it on youtube (lol right?)...
 
Shining lasers at people is not "playing", it's being a dickhead. Dickheads shouldn't have lasers. Shining lasers at any living things at any time is outright stupid and dangerous.

Unless of course being fined and locked away for the next 10 years of your life is what you want.
 
i dont want to shine it at any one or anything it can damage that is alive... i never said i did that is stupid but i do want to see if it will reach across town.

I really hope you take some of the good advice offered in this thread-
stay away fron Laserto, warn AND WL- buy a build from a member or pick up one of the great deal members put up of thier used lasers-

Take advice only from Vets or those that are really giving good advice-


With cell phones everywhere and lasers mounted on guns do you REALLY want to 'have fun' by using your laser in such a BAD way??

There really is no safe place to shine lasers much in 'town' --
In USA intentional lasering of aircraft is now a federal offence- un- intentional is JUST a felony.

We like our lasers-- foolish people wll cause US to lose our lasers- am I getting through to you??

Please !!! stay away from lasers if you are going to have that attitude !!! don't be selfish !! There is a world outside yours with people that like lasers like you do !:wave: THINK !!! INFORM YOURSELF
we don't need another knuckle head !! In the laser community !!....... As you can clearly see and read in this forum, everyone here has a mature actitude when it comes to lasers ! So please read a lot ! Read about laws in your state, airport laws against laser ! If you want to see if your laser will reach across town then get a 50mW one don't get anything too powerful ! Also you have to watch out for aircrafts, helicopters, reflecting surfaces,cars,people,cops !!! All that so please once again ! Read , understand , check twise and then make the move (;
We all want lasers ! We don't need to hear about more laser insidents ;)
