I think a lot of people would find this review helpful because it's a very cheap laser considering it's supposed to be 80mW. However, the main message of this review is: You get what you pay for. It's not a very good laser. Actually it's comparable to a good DX 30mW, which is 17$ less.
First impressions
It took 2 weeks from order to delivery. Much faster than DX, and the shipping was still free. It came in bubblewrap, a box was an extra 2$. The laser itself looks just like a DX pen laser, except a few minor details. The BG 80mW is a few mm longer than a DX laser, the aperture is smaller, and so on. I think it looks a little better than a DX laser.
Performance
As I said, this is not a good laser. It's not really 80mW (I think), more like 30-50. It burns just the same as a good DX 30mW. It's a little brighter though, but this is because the beam is thinner. The divergence is worse than the DX pen.
I was expecting something better than my DX 30mW, but it was not. So I'm regretting this purchase.
