How much time do I have for the order? Because I might collect some more buyers but would need about a week.

If everyone agrees, I suggest we end this GB Oct. 1st. I am in no hurry and would like to see as many as possible get in on this deal.
 
I think we should end it as early as possible so we don't hold up those who are waiting for them to come. I'm not sure but the interest seems to have petered out slightly as those who have indicated interest have more or less paid up or are just waiting for funds.

Perhaps some spare units could be ordered for those coming in late or a second GB organized.
I know I might just be impatient but I'm sure nobody likes to wait too long.

Oct 1 sounds like a good date but remember we have to wait some more for shipping and such.
 
Well in the end it's up to Daedal...but if he has enough orders perhaps ending it this Friday? Then he can deal with round 2 if he wants to.

One thing to keep in mind here, is that "spare" units come out of the pocket of the organizer....that puts people in a VERY sticky situation ! October 1st sounds more than fair - again, it is up to Daedal when he wants to cut it off - and I am not certain that the minimum wuantity has been reached ? If it has not been reached - then everyone would have to shell out more money, as the special pricing is only for a minimum of 50 units. LOTS of logistics involved in GB's folks...
 
Okay, if this might close any day, can you please reserve three BRs for me? Confirmation and Money to come, but it should be three.

I think you should order one or two now, and don't use them until after you build a good working red!

Seriously -- We all have plenty to do with the GB reds to keep us busy. I'm going to rebuild my labie power supply using the L200 chip. My present one sings (oscillates) like a bird.. All you designers out there whith an O'scope know about that :D Bypass caps everywhere :o

I believe that a deadline of September 25 is a very good deadline considering it would take a few days to get all the money in my bank account and cleared. At that rate, the order should be filed and money sent out to the seller by the 1st of October. It'll be a week's shipping from him to me, and another week maximum to get the items out to everyone here. Anyone who has ordered anything from me before will testify to how fast my shipping is ;)

Including orders from people who sent funds through snail-mail and reserves, I believe we are at 45+ orders. As of right now I have received payment for 33 diodes. If anyone wants to get in on this deal, now is the time. All orders received after Sept. 25 will be for the next GB which has no deadline or estimate as of yet ;)

If you intend to use these, if you don't have a lot of experience, and if you don't want to miss out, now is the time to get involved with this deal. Get multiples and don't hesitate. It will probably be a while before a second GB like this one is made.
