** BluRay Diode GB **

I enlisted in the other thread but I suppose this is where its at these days? If so I want me one of these here pretty-ones...

Ya... it does look very promising... :D

So... the page is still under construction, and once I finish it, which will probably be tomorrow, I'll link it up here and all the promises can them be fulfilled ;)

I think this going to go very quickly, and the more the merrier :D :D

How long till this is finalized? I want one but I'm tight on cash right now (should have mroe late next week though)

Ashton, you should have enough time. It'll be a few days before the orders are filled I'm sure. But a week's time is probably around the time when we'd have the orders at or damn near the minimum ;)

This'll probably be a quick buy... and just might be an ongoing ordeal :D

Just to work on daedal's point about the optics and perhaps increase interest...

If all you want is the diode, these optics sets sell for like $15 a set on ebay. So if yoou get a few sets and only need one set of optics. You are basically paying only $15 for the diode!!

Alright the price for them may drop when supply outstrips demand so don't you all go selling them on ebay!

Did blu-ray diodes for $15 anyone? ;)

Alright everyone, for all those EAGER to send money already, the payment page has been finalized and is ready to take orders. I decided to pass on sleep tonight ;)

All you have to do is sign up for a Google Checkout account (if you don't have one... you should get one), type in the number of diodes you'd like to order, then once you get to the checkout page select the appropriate shipping method.

As is the case with most other buys, the orders will NOT be fulfilled until a minimum of 50 units have been ordered.

I have set the international shipping at $12 which would barely cover the shipping with the appropriate packaging and protection.

So... have at it... I'll see how the sales are going and will update everyone as the numbers roll in.

Upon further inspection, I wanted to update everyone to make sure you all know that the above lens will include ALL the optics used in the PS3 drive, which are all very nicely explained here:

This just makes it even more worth the buy  ;)

:D :D

That's very co-incidental. I was at that site yesterday. :)

I would highly recommend that everyone purchasing these read the whole article on the Blu-ray including the main page, optics page and diode page.  It will likely answer many of the "How do I.......?, What do I need.......?"-type questions and potentially save folks from ruining some nice laser diodes.  These cannot be driven at the same level as Senkat's GB diodes!

Hmm, it doesn't seem to be possible to choose international shipping :-/

Once you have signed in after getting to the Google Checkout cart, there will be a drop down menu that lets you choose the appropriate shipping method ;)
