Hmmm..... as a noob, its reassuring to see that scamming is not tolerated here. I have spent hours upon hours reading the threads in LPF and its pretty clear who you CAN trust, who you Maybe can trust, and who you CAN'T trust.

Maybe there should be a "Buyer Beware" thread?

There is a sticky in this section called "Trades Feedback". People leave feedback in there, even for sales.
 
There is also another thread here in the b/s/t section that lists folks to stay away from. There used to be a sticky documenting who had been banned for whatever reasons and that was probably the most accurate place to see who was scamming.
