BlueFusion's latest cleanup thread.

OK, both lasers are freshly metered, graphed and packed ready to ship Thurs arvo.
There's a heap of graphs, the excel log files, and some images of the packed items at http://blufusion.info/lasers/measurements/ for you all to take a look at. Once I post the stuff off, I'll post both tracking numbers too.

I've decided to fork out $50 from my pay (which i actually need to spend on gear for a local show i've been asked to do, but nevermind) to pay for Express Courier International for Sawt's package, so it'll be trackable and is delivered in 3-6 days (IIRC).


Now some more info about the measuring environment.
All measurements are taken using my Coherent 3W thermopile meter (same core components as the Kenometer, but built by myself) and captured and logged with my Digitech USB connected multimeter. Total system error is 3% max.
The test battery was fresh off my Ultrafire WF-139 charger (immediately before each run), and is an UltraFire protected 18650 (grey type).
Room temperature was 18 degrees, taken with a K type thermocouple probe left to sit for 5 minutes.
The green laser's test was 2 minutes, and the IR's was 15 minutes.

Interesting note: After the 15 minutes, the IR was only 27 degrees, barely detectable as warm to touch, but definitely not room temperature / cool.

So if we check 2morrow we should find that the tracking should work, due to it being next day delivery and all.

Yeah, the fine print says next business day delivery before 5 PM since i got it in before 5 today. So it should get there tomorrow.
 
I'm out all day tomorrow, so I won't be able to pick it up.

However, I'll be able to pick it up on monday and send it out on the same day :)
 
Blue, since you are active again, I want to remind you that my $103.5 has not been refunded yet! You kept ignoring most of my emails before, and as I understand you are broke, I give more time without official disputes.

Murudai, i think it gets delivered to your house, but yeah if your not home than you have to go pick it up at the posty on Monday.
Yeap if everything goes fine, you can ship it of the same day :)

Alrighty, I just did a few brief tests on the laser.

And it's working exactly as BlueFusion stated [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
 
BlueFusion, I really think you ought to learn something from this.

A: Check your PMs EVERY time you log on. REPLY TO THEM, MAKE TIME.
B: Check your emails, REPLY TO THEM.
C: Spam filter is a lame excuse dude, no offense.
 
el-taco, go away please. I have been checking my PMs, I check and reply to my emails almost obsessively and I have honest to god not received any emails from milos of late.
 
Well you can see Murudai got his laser, and it works as stated, so you can see BlueFusion is working on getting stuff sent out/refunded/replaced whatever. I have just recently bought a high powered red module from him, and he seems to be making good progress on it, he said it should be ready to ship by the end of this week. If you are still waiting for refunds or whatever, just send him 1 PM, then LEAVE it. He will do his best to get it all sorted, and PM bombing him will not help in any way, and even discourage him!

Not takin sides or anything here, and I realize your refunds or whatever are wayy overdue, but can you imagine having a whole forum on your back about refunds? I cant imagine how many PM's he gets a day, already!

No harm or anything meant in that, he WILL get it sorted. If he doesnt, its like a 5 hour plane trip from here to him. :P

But yeah, give him a "break", he will get stuff done faster if he doesnt have to come on and read the 100's of PM's he has.
