Blackbuck 3

I like it, but I wonder if it has a 1.5 VDC drop out voltage, since he indicates the output voltage to the load can go up to 5.0 VDC, but the minimum required input voltage is 6.5 VDC? What about if I want to use this driver with a PL520 green single mode laser diode? They require at least 7.5 VDC.

Yeah probably not the best for 7.5v load, but still great driver!

You can use 3 batts!

Usually a boost driver for that diode, the Flexdrive is boost-buck
, the NANO is great for that diode
, any Xboost if you can get them
, also the micro boost in the pics

Vladimir is also working on some boost drivers!

I tried to order 10 of these today from him but he said he didn't have enough assembled yet.

Why didn't you try 5 for now!

Looks like Jordan now has the blackbuck 8 in his store, that is great news love that driver!

He said I should be able to get them by the end of the week. I have 20 of the 8M drivers on their way right now. I tried to add them before they went out but it was too late.

I just received mine, it was only about 1 week this time all the way to Sydney,
They look nice as usual!

Wow I just noticed Rick Trent also has some blackbuck M8s on his eBay page however they are much more expensive!

Has anyone had any problems with these new drivers? I just had a 3A die on me two days ago for no reason. I was using it to test some M140's and it just stopped outputting. I just had a customer request a return on the 8M because he said it didn't work too. I asked him what his process was and I'm fairly certain he didn't do anything wrong.
