He just wasn't responding to my PMs (he did respond to a few but not all).

Thought he was talking about me since he asked how the "middleman thing worked" through a PM. Maybe you were before me though. I sent him a PM not too long after the original post either.

No biggie though. I believe adam should have been in better communication to us though (he should have told us who was buying them).

If you sent it as a "gift" he has to "accept" it. Did he accept it? If not, you should cancel the gift

I figured that if he ripped me off, I could afford it.

If he didn't then I could distribute them to the forum for cheap.

I edited out his email address so no one else would send him money.

I have always TRIED to be a trusting type of person and have only been "stung" a few times over the years, so I hate to group everyone I meet in a distrusting manner.

That's one of the reasons why I was trying to take up the offer before anyone else and ask to use a middleman, to see if he would or not (plus, if he would have, it was a good deal).

Thanks for trying to be helpful though Dave! Hope someone gets the lasers and someone gets their money back...

i sense a scam. If you send him money as a gift, you CANNOT request a refund. that's the whole idea of a gift.......

Don't do this without a middle man......but if you do, don't whine when you lose $70

Edit: nvm, just saw above.... This saddens me. I'm really disappointed in you guys.....
We only use the trust system with people we know.
