Best rechargeable 18650 battery?

Status
Not open for further replies.
Hi guys, my new laser that i ordered from lazerer just came in. I didn't order the rechargeable battery that they had because it was from ultrafire. And reading on the fourms ultrafire isn't very reliable. So my question is what is the most reliable and best rechargeable 18650 battery out there? my laser can't be used right now because it has no source of power ): LZCB - 532nm 50mW Focusable Green Laser Pointer

You guys obviously didn't read it at all.

One of you is recommending expensive low capacity battery , and charger that is not even in stock, and obviously promoting that web site. Beside that comes with misinformation how he can buy 2 AW batteries for one Panasonic.

Another, Trustfire batteries, which are same as Ultrafire batteries. At least read first post.

Nobody is flamed, ... My posts are there and will stay there.

If truthful, helpful info, and openness bothers you , I cannot help.

Always open for healthy discussion.

Cheers

:crackup:I have no affiliation whatsoever with either AW or lighthound aside from being an occasional customer.

Unlike you, I don't have a company or brand to promote and just recommend companies and products based on my and collective LPF experiences.

Spreading misinformation too easily- misuse of rep power: to shut up free and independent voice

:crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup::crackup:

Yeah... AW batteries are really bad information. I suppose for your business they are:shhh:

As for free and independent - You're neither. You're a mouthpiece for a company. That makes you biased.

This is an OPEN forum, you're free to be heard, but don't expect statements like "I know what I am talking about. You've got it all wrong." to just pass by without a response.

So you 2 guys, when you do not have any argument left, or cannot add anything to discussion you just hit that rep neg button. Thanks god you do not have any rep power in a real life. We would probably be in war with at least 20 countries by now. :)

I hope that my posts will help honest people who actually want to know more about batteries , and chargers.

Do your own math decide for yourself.

Many guys will recommend even piece of wood for a few free products from seller.

Again : If you are new - read every post very carefully , and decide for yourself.

I am a seller which is obvious from my signature, my avatar, and hundreds of posts. That is pretty obvious.

Panasonic NCR18650A 3100mAh currently the BEST. That is a fact. No matter from which store you buy.

Sorry you 2 guys - that is the truth. You can ask AW, Redilast, and other manuf. what cell they use.

Stay safe.

Yes... because your argument of "I know what I am talking about. You've got it all wrong." is so compelling.

What did I say in my first post on this thread?

Did you forget?

It was "While the panasonics are no doubt great, they are overkill for a 50mW green laser....

A protected AW will do the just as well. Sochine and solarforce batteries will also work well."

For some reason you decided to take issue with this...

Cool down, and do not take it personally if you do not have anything to add to this discussion.

Reader will read, and decide for him/herself. Reader might be newbie here , but not in a real life.

Sometime is not about rep power ,but about correct, and honest info provided.

You should take your own advise about cooling down.

Especially with bad assumptions.

The thread is on a forum about LASERS.

The thread specifically references a 50mW laser.

In light of that your panasonic batteries don't make much sense.

The only mistake I made was in assuming the pricing on your website was per battery.

The PROTECTED AW batteries or even the cheap xxxxfire batteries still make more sense for a 50mW LASER.

Certainly people will decide for themselves... after all company shills are always so trustworthy.

No need to point that out. Discussions are always welcome on an open forum.

True enough, but this has gone to far. The thread was getting derailed, I was just trying to keep it on track.

IMO, Brenner is right in pointing out Panasonics are the best. In the context of a 50mW laser however, Infinitus is right in pointing out the Panasonics are overkill, and that cheaper cells would perform well enough for the requirements of a 50mW laser. The rest of the argument is just pure opinion and Brenner trying to sell his cells.

Nah, I don't think that #4 is fair personally. There should always be room for reasonable discourse. Unfortunately this thread hasn't seen much of that.

Besides I don't think of myself as a senior member. Everyday I'm reminded of how much there is left to learn:p

I was pointing out #4 in the context of personal attacks. Scientific debate is always welcome, no matter of status. :)

ARGLaser read these posts carefully, and you will understand much more. Price was one of the things we were talking about.

Would you let obvious misinformation let go , without answer.

So it is not only about selling cells (it is in my signature open for everybody - I am not hiding it nor pretending to be somebody else) but about providing correct info.

If you are using your "power" and give me a neg because I say that you are wrong, then...

More useful info related to this topic:

Will always try to help with useful info.

There is only one person here keeping the argument going. You deserve the rep.

how did this become a all out brawl. I come back from school and see this. I just need a nice reliable cheap(im 15 can't ask parents because they think its a stupid waste of money) battery :wtf:

so could someone link me to one with a charger and battery. And one more question. Are these 18650 batteries the height and size of a normal double a battery?
