Best Laser Power Meter between these 3?

I didn't respond because I didn't have internet at the time. Nor did I have any thermopiles to sell with my meters. Essentially the only thing I can do now is to sell a Pro base unit, or Pro with an alpha sensor.

At this point, I don't forsee any other options..

Your out of Coherent Thermopiles?

the only thing remaining to me is the alpha sensor. I have run out of ophir and coherent sensors.

What's the difference between an Ophir thermopile like on nospins and a coherent thermopile?

so really, somebody could buy the kenometer, and just buy an ophir thermopile of of ebay for like $225 bucks and have same thing correcT?

how much would it be for a pro, just the unit, I already have a calibrated OPHIR

$300 for just the base unit, batteries, charger and cable. I'd need to know the pinout for your thermopile so I can make the cable right.

sorry, had to change that. I forgot, I have to pay for the software and such, so I have to increase the price to cover all of it. At $250, that barely covers my cost for the parts.

well hell yeah. It's not gonna be like today or this week, but I am looking to upgrade relatively soon, and will give you a shout, this pictures shows the plug from my ophir thermopile , that connects to the NOSPIN box

Oh, it's a nospin sensor.. OK that's easy then, as it's the same sensor I used in the original pro. I will make you a completely new cable. The cable I use is a s-video cable. If your interested, I can even make you one utilizing the original cable that came with the piles. here is a picture.

it's kind of nice cause it's 6 feet long but only takes up 2 feet when coiled.

hell yeah, that looks great, will let you know when I am ready to get down to business

Hello Everyone,

I apologize in advance to everyone for neglecting to contribute a proper review of the Kenometer PRO sooner.

I bought the Kenometer PRO from Ken when he was running that kick-ass 15% off sale in August of last year. I'll admit that I don't have any other LPM in my possession to compare it with but, there is ONE reason this one is the BEST (at least for me). That would be the fact that it is fully portable and can run on two 14500 Li-ion cells.

I've personally taken this meter to the streets of Hong-Kong China & metered several lasers in they sell in the streets. One of which claimed to be a 200mW 532nm which only registered at 60mW after almost a minute of run time.

I hope this helps.

Peace,

Alfie Chip!
