Dose anyone know were can get some axis module springs?? Let my friend play with my lasers and of course they unscrewed it and yea ...... any help would be great.

If you get some teflon tape from the hardware store you can wrap it around the lens and just leave the spring out completely. This is a pretty common thing to do, as you focus the laser the spring will rub on the module and lens and dirty the lens and diode window.

If you are dead set on some springs though PM me an address and I'll mail a few to you.

Yeah, what Pontiac said. I don't use springs just teflon tape.

Survival Laser sells springs for an axiz lens that mounts on the exterior of the lens rather than inside the module head. I use these for several of my lasers and they hold your focus setting better than the internal springs IMO

That's actually a pretty good idea, but $5! Ouch!

I'm almost 100% sure you could find a suitable spring for ~ $0.80 at any ace hardware.

Actually I like the teflon tape suggestion you mentioned... I am going to grab some and try that also

Put it around the middle only. Or you may get a piece on the lens, or worse, the diode.

I imagine if you email Chuck at Aixiz, he'd hook you up as well.

+ thank you!

No problem! I had that happen with a PHR diode, it melted the tape right onto the diode window, would hate for someone else to do that with a 45$ diode.

Right on guys thanks alot!!!!

Think im gonna try the teflon tape. Thank you ponitiac :thanks:
