I'm not enough of a Star Trek fan to want a lightsaber.* I've built a host before and I love holding something where I know "I made that!"
The photo with the ruler is extremely helpful. Do you maybe have some rough dimensions of the collimating lens?
Does it sound too crazy to try and build active cooling with TECs into the host?
