.4 amps, could run that from a DX 35 driver or an LM317 easily.g3rG said:I checked the current with a clamp-on, and got roughly .4 amps. I say roughly because my meter does not have a lower range. I did do a double wrap and divide by 2.
I checked the 2 (very different) modules that I have. The beams are the same height from the base plate at the aperture. The beams were also close to parallel to the base plate. One was about 1 mm high at 1m, and the other was about 2mm low. That means that I can get coplanar beams with only minor shimming. Nice!
