Hi All,

Last night There was alot of Fog and Mist out and i took this Crazy beam video.

The video does not do it justice. The Beam is Nice and solid and tight. A very good thrower as you can see from the video. In the video it is hitting the trees ~120 feet away there is also not alot of splash but some.:)

The light was a Cree NF-009 model.

So before i turn it into a laser:

:thanks: For Looking.

Im thinking of buying that torch just to use as a torch lol..... I need a good strong torch :D

Yea its buy far the tightest hot spot flashlight i had so far. It also has a nice spill Up to ~30 Feet.

Drill out the Reflector alittle to fit a P7 and its going to be so much better.

What until you see my other Flashlight Project that iam working on.

Iam not telling :na:

Just a note, using a P7 for throw won't work too well. This is due to the fact that the P7 is a quad-die LED, and there are donuts in the beam up close, and at a distance it's more of a flood. It's a great LED for illumination (as is the MC-E) but for a good powerful single die, I'd go with an XM-L.

I must save some $$... then I'll buy this light and mod it with a XM-L :eg:

Cant wait to see your flashlight mod! judging by all your other projects it must be a WIN!

well if you search "nf-009" on DX, this is the only search result ;)

I can remember Sorry.:( It was very foggy that Night with alot of Mist in the Air. Iam pretty sure that the spot looked like it stop when i was pointing it into the clouds but like i said i cant remember. But it was a Nice tight beam.:D
