Was doing a search on glasses, and found these. PSPBG Lens

$120 for only 445-450nm OD 2+ & 532nm OD 2.5+ seems a bit much even if the styles are pretty nice. It seems like by marketing them towards pilots; they will get a decent amount of business, when I venture the pilots could pay less, and get better protection elsewhere.... Or am I missing something.....

Yeah a bit too expensive for the protection it offers. Laser hits on aircrafts at high altitudes shouldn't cause much damage to the eyes because of divergence. The OD level seems adequate because I think the main purpose of these glasses is to prevent flash blindness.

I don't wear glasses but I think the $120 isn't about the protection but more towards the style and frame.

Obviously a $9 Uvex would work too, but others would look at you funny. :D

It's absolutely for style. I have two pairs of $250 Nike sun glasses. OD. nothin!! :p

( can't say I paid for them, but I have them , shhhhhhhhh)
