^^^ I did the 3 D cell P7 maglite mod with an aspherical lens (Melles Griot), and it throws beautifully. The only problem was the price...Over $200 w/o batteries, ouch! I would love to see what this new emitter can do with a similar setup. I finally got a couple of the Kaidomain aspherical lenses a little while ago and need to put them to use. This emitter looks like a good candidate.
