Attention Laser Designers!

pushing 2W is something i have only done once and i found that the difference from 1.7 and 2w were not enough for me to care. why 2w?
why not stick with 1.5w last a long time and alot cheaper to make.
now i have a 3w (if you feel lucky and get 405-g1 lenses you may get up to 3.75W) version but your going to pay at least 500$ per unit for it.
yes this is a 2 diode laser made it in block form now just have to make it round to fit into the host.
thank god for rectangle beams turn one 90 and it makes the dot look better.

The 405-G1 lenses do draw out the power but without correction
the divergence really suffers. Used lavas lens set with good results..

these are what the FDA requires:
atleast 2 switches (1 key, could be like a plug)
1 indicator light (must be visible with goggles on)
Beam attenuator (perhaps a shutter?)

I'm open-minded with this

I'm also interested in purchasing 445nm lasers between 1W and 2W

When people neither confirm nor deny an accusation, it's true. :p

Hmmm...

well i could make a key switch with a second switch to turn on the laser.
the driver i use has a second engage pin to turn it on a a low current switch of any kind will work.
i can add a LED but when does it need to light up?
when the key is turned?
As as a shutter can you just add something like a camera shutter cover?
do you know how expensive this is going to be even selling in lots?
to add all the stuff you want add a ton of extra amount of work thus more money.

Where does this new member live.... How old is he...
There is nothing in his profile....

Maybe he's using his dad's computer...

Or maybe he's the FDA....

Whoever this is, I wouldn't touch this deal with a 3 meter (10 foot) pole....

Hey, anselm? What's the differences between not touching it with a 10 foot pole and touching it with a ten-foot pole? It seems like both are sort of way out of the way....

I haven't seen any dieing 2W builds. Back a while ago, most of DTRs were 2w. Never heard of deaths. And BTW is that page real? Lol

Why would you pass on this?

For the Vets that are on this thread right now, could you give me some advice on making deals with skilled members???

I'm not sure what I did to scare people off. The demand for 2W laser pointers is VERY REAL. I believe its a real good idea to finally market these and take attention away from wickedlasers because as far as I can tell

NO ONE SELLS 2W 445NM LASER POINTERS

btw i figured out who todeshini is, the guy owns awesomelasers.com....real skeevy guy

Forget it

I'll have a machinist design an FDA compliant host and an electrician/ REAL LASER TECH design the guts......

Thanks for the help laserpointerforums.com

Why?? Because you're way to familiar on whats going on here with 3 posts to your name. So I figure you're FDA, or maybe even a clown from Awesomelasers trying to pay back all the shit we through at him. Who knows really? But one thing I do know is you're no n00b looking for builder. And with that fact I'd pass.

Edit: Oh, I guess you dont need us after all. Cya.

Based on umm... other information, I'd say it's Awesomelasers... :shhh:
