Or just one big heavy box :p and just put a post-it on it with the date of last run, and set it up all ready to go in the living room or something so you can just flip the switch and let it run
 
Noooo you definitely want to ship to the closer location if you're concerned about shipping, there's less room for shipping problems
 
Oh, about using the CD to get the 8 lines.

Of course, that's what I was looking for, a tube with ML optics. That does not mean the output is already split, it just means the mirrors are broadband dielectric mirrors that are HR for a wide range (including 458-514.5) allowing for the gain of that entire spectrum.

Though I understand if you don't want to sell.

If it's al ALC 60X, or Omnichrome 532, I already have a PSU for it, if that changes anything ;)

Runs at full and idle power with a switch.

I have grown tired of looking for boxes, packing, lugging etc.

WHat's the power on it?

how do you switch it from ilde to full power with a switch?

Well I just got this ticking Argon snagged from eBay for $180, not too bad I think.

Is it bad to just let the Argon tick until it lases? I read somewhere on here that each "tick" knocks a bit off of the cathode... how many times can the cathode last?

Also, do I need to jump any pins for this? There doesn't seem to be anything on the "Remote" pins of the PSU... thanks

EDIT: or, where can I get an Oudin Coil (for less than $200 hopefully :p)? Can I loan/borrow one from a kind LPF member here? Or, how difficult would it be to just build my own Oudin Coil?
