Do any of the henes have exposed tubes?
I was invisioning a laser lamp type thing, i think daguin did it a while back. Maybe it was somebody else, not completly sure.

Both Jayrob and I did one.  Jayrob's is more modern looking (with clear acrylic and stuff)

Oh yeah -- and mine's a green HeNe

It doesn't actually "blaze" like that.  It is a clean plasma.  The camera just got overloaded

well if one of the henes ihas an open tube so that it could be used for something like that, then i'm VERY interested.

You are in luck, one of the tubes has an exposed bore. This is nice, but the laser has exposed HV and I would be hesitancy to sell to someone who doesn't know what they are doing with the HV for liability reasons.

I am just reading up on Sam's about HV lasers and safety, and i might hold off on that, however, i still may be interested in one of the other ones.

Do they come with power supplies? Are they pretty much plug n play?

The CO2 arrived last friday (3/27) but got bumped out of alignment in the process. Ben is going to work with me to make things right when I have time to mess with it

Has anyone else (besides ...) received their items yet? I'm in the US and it's been 9 days since my laser was shipped (according to Ben) but still no laser for me. I've never had USPS take more than 4 days to deliver domestic mail..

He did say that if it hasn't arrived this week he'd send me another, so I'll be posting here if I ever get it..
