Re: For Sale: Argon Laser - near new, very compact.

I better make it clear that this laser is in Australia.

Tempting, not to mention i love the design..

Re: For Sale: Argon Laser - near new, very compact.

I'd be all over this if shipping wasn't going to be through the roof. :(

One more for sale. Something tells me I'm going to seriously regret selling this unit, but oh well....

Re: For Sale: Argon Laser - near new, very compact.

Is this a single or multi line unit?

Re: For Sale: Argon Laser - near new, very compact.

I'd love to have it. I just don't think I can deal with the shipping price to the US. :(

Re: Argon Laser for SALE.

Have just done a maintenance burn on this laser today.
Diode lasers just have nothing over the beam quality of gas lasers...perfectly round tight beam. Stunning!

Re: Argon Laser for SALE.

But will it light a match, cut electrical tape, or pop balloons? ;)

Re: Argon Laser for SALE.

Hey vk2fro,
Nice to see you again.
You should know....you had one of these :-)
I guess you can always use a match box to light the match, use a knife to cut the tape and use a pin to pop the balloon.

Re: Argon Laser for SALE.

Hey timelab,
I have a quick question for you. What pins need to be connected on the little control interface to get the laser to start? I see on your laser you have a connector plugged in there, so I was just curious if you knew.

I have a whitelight version of this laser on its way to me, and I'd like to try to fire it up as soon as it gets in. Thanks!!!

nah I'll just use my 445

Yeah they are good lasers. GooeyGus, your lucky getting a shoebox sized whitelight - make sure you post pics :)

Re: Argon Laser for SALE.

i bought this laser. i want to thank all the posters in this thread for putting my mind at ease about sending a lot of cash to a guy in austrailia i don't know.

Congrats Cheech. I had my eye in this back when it originally went up for sale, but just couldn't manage the shipping cost.

You mentioned you wanted to branch out into more exotic wavelengths. This should not disappoint. The color from an Argon is truly beautiful. .
