SKY/S-KY are good manufacturers, but the pictures actually in the listing near the bottom are all from other places....

Edit: And so are almost all of the other pictures...as is the description....

I was browsing ebay and found this interesting item

SKY®500 High Power Blue Laser 473nm Cutting Burning - eBay (item 370459910255 end time Dec-04-10 12:58:39 PST)

Has anyone else seen a laser in this host?!

It looks very familiar

The seller has some other interesting items....nothing I would buy as the prices seem high and quality is unknown (probably better than the real acrtic :D) but I thought this was interesting.

It claims to be 473nm but I would guess its a 445nm for the price

When I click on that ebay link and scroll down to have a look at the specification, when I actually see the the country of manufacture : SINGAPORE

I Actually ROFL!

For your info, I am a Singaporean and Singapore DO NOT MANUFACTURE handheld LAsers. There are Strict Regulations from the GOvernment and our Country Stick very stringently to ISO, or FDA or whatever law, be it NATO laws and whatever laws, except, human rights.

Guys, if that seller can bullshyt about the Country of origin, he can bullshyt about anything. No such manufacture company exist in Singapore. And unregistered companies in Singapore is even an imposibility you should think of. Unregistered companies don't exist in Singapore.

IF He claims he got that laser from Singapore, ask that boss of that company to come meet me, ask that so called boss talk to me face to face, in front of Singapore authorities and police.

Guys, I can only think of a possiblity of who, everytime when Singapore got this shyt, is always them. Beware, that seller could be just another China guy again.

I emailed the seller and he assures me they are 473nm... yea right. I also asked some other questions but he/she didnt seem to understand them which makes me wonder if UK is really the country of the seller...

"Hi,
Thnak you contacting us.
Let me know what prices you looking for? This laser is 500mW 473nm
thks
sam"

Spell check...is important

I say they are full of crap, they are contradicting themselves The spec sheet says 450nm

This guy has one of my pictures. I guess he can't even be bothered to take his own.:tsk: The best part is one is a 405 diode C3 unit and the other is my 445 SS 18650.

I like how they always brag about their lasers being made from aircraft grade aluminum. I guess it could come in handy when the laser dies and you send it flying.

It's not an Arctic knockoff, it is the arctic.
Yep. With (it looks like) a different logo printed on it. :undecided:
Clearly 445nm (specs: beam diameter = 5.0mm)
Also, note that one of the pictures (someones avatar here) is the mole holding the Arctic.

ROTFL, this belong probably to FAIL thread :p :D (wondering how much time will pass, before someone report this to ebay security for false advertisement and high power pointer selling :p)
