A few years back I was in a video game arcade with some friends racing one another on the daytona machines (and beating all the kiddies on them) and I spotted a machine that you stepped inside, chose a scenario and the machine played that scenario complete with motion. You had to wear a harness in the ride as it could go upside down (no one wants to bang their head on the celing of the ride). It also featured 2 big emergency stop buttons inside, incase you had to get out quick (aka airsickness)
The choices were a roller coaster, a Ferrari down a mountainside road, a flight in a cessna in a storm or a harrier jump jet ride. I chose the harrier and it was amazing.
The harrier started in a field, spooled up its engines, took off, flew over a city, did a few barrel rolls, turns and loops, and landed on an aircraft carrier. The ride cost $4 and lasted approximatly 3 minutes
Does anyone know what that ride machine is called?
