Does anyone know of any good ebay dealers that might sell a higher power model stickered at 5mw? Anyone ever buy the Super Beast from Itemquickship? Anyone have a good deal on a laser?

All those newwish style 5mW ebay lasers in either 405nm or 532nm come in one of two varieties.

1. Significantly over spec

2. Broken

I ordered 4 dozen 532nm and 2 dozen 405nm...only a few were broken and if you know how to use ebay effectively you can get them for less than dirt cheap. I have found that on ebay sellers worry a lot about their rating so if you email them complaining if you get a broken one they will usually send you a new one or refund your money etc.

Also the 405nm tend to be WAY overspec even upwards of 70mW (not typical) and can be had for $7 shipped last I checked. Using a lens I can focus the beam of any of my 405nm enough to burn through thin paper and smoke plastic etc.

This morning I found 3x 5mw 405nm pens in my mailbox.
Sold by this guy .
They are just your typical bubblerwrapped, newwish, overspec (dot warms skin) pen.
Shipping took the standard 3 weeks from Hong Kong.

Perfect in my opinion, I don't understand how they can make profit with this.
I guess I'll have to do that instead now.

Wlaser is a good seller. Every laser I've ordered from him has been overspec.

I just bought an overspec 405 from Itemquickship ... he's in Louisiana so they get here (Ft Worth) really quick.

Yeah, I have ordered 20x of his green lasers, with one hitting 75mw-pops balloons, lights matches...
I stood on the tallest hill in Parker County(Texas), and shined it towards Springtown(10 miles away), and my friend said he could see a bright green flash on the horizon.
I have also purchased 10x of his blue lasers, with all of them warming my skin on contact.
Also, beware of the Super Beast.. My first one was dead on arrival, and I told Itemquickship that I would have to give a bad review of it, and a day later, I recieved confirmation that he shipped out another one, promising that it will work, and pleading that I don't make a bad review...LOL
Guess those chinese ebayers want to be perfect sellers(-=
