surely you mix some native soil/rock dust with the potting mix? That's the money stuff . . .

Tomatoes, basil, thai basil, thyme, rosemary - and - hot peppers.

Santa Fe Grande, Serrano, Cayenne, Jalapeno, Habanero, and Thai Hot Chile.

And i'm at 8000ft in the mountains - rocky soil, we have to do everything in containers. But it's working, we've already made salsas and curry from the peppers and herbs.

Actually, we haven't -- we've just been using the moisture control potting mix.. And the peppers have been happening but not as fast as we'd like. Does that help? If so, I'll try it.

Potatoes, onions and garlic.

My raspberries and cherries are done for the year but the blackberries should be ready in a week or so.

Does what you grow in your garden have to be legal in your state? :shhh:

EDIT; it was a joke, i just realized how suggestive it was, sorry all, i do not grow anything illegal, i do have a few trees i planted when we first moved into this house and its enjoyable watching them mature.

Love my vegetable garden and we grow lots of different veg in the spring/summer/autumn. The winter here is a bit tough, but we've got onions, chard, fennel, radishes, bok choy, broccoli, celeriac, leeks and some broad beans going at the moment. Oh and a few peas in too, but not doing much at the moment.

I love growing & find it an addictive rewarding hobby,
A few of the things I have on the go are Chilli's,peppers, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, beetroot, runnerbeans, broadbeans, lettice, carrots, leeks, potatoes, shallots etc
then a massive collection of herbs which are my main interest, a variety of shamanic, meadical & edable which are mostly perennials but do have annuals too like greek origano & sweet/red basils which taste great!
fruit I have apples, gogi berries & cranberries & wild we have backberries
All good fun :)

Hemp is legal but not marijuanna :) Thats two different thing.
Its much more efficient than cotton and corn,
you can make clothes, food, and a bunch of things with it.

I have not enough room for an almond tree.

I've got some chives, cilantro, and dill that I munch on when I'm bored.
