Re: Shitting problems :P

You probably have a hemorrhoid starting. If it continues for a few days go see a proctologist.

Re: Shitting problems :P

You might want to tone down your Thread Title....

You need to stop nibbling on barbed wire...
And go see a doctor...

Yeah. Red is MUCH better than black.

That means that it is something external or very near the end of the colon.

You could even just have a small tear in your anus or colon (from a hard stool or a foreign body in your stool).

Have you had to strain to defecate lately?

Peace,
dave

Sounds like you're dehydrated, but that would not cause the blood.

Just keep an eye on it. If it starts increasing, or turns very dark, go to the ER.

Nope not at all. And Thank's for your answer.

Problems like that run in my girlfriends family. Her dad had a colostomy bag from Acute Colitis, and her sister was just diagnosed with Crohns. She is only 28y, and doing very badly.

That's very unfortunate, I hate problems anywhere near my Anus. :san:
Seriously its like a phobia.

Happened to me but I saw it on paper and it was very little. It should have been due to the hard time giving birth to that sh:)t and it being fatass.

Dude, its EVERY mans phobia.

When I had my prostate checked the Dr lubed me up. When he was finished he took a tissue and started wiping my butt. I did a little dance, and told him to stop. They all had a big laugh.

I thought this was going to be one of these....

...but I see it's in fact a serious medical concern, and I apologize for thinking of the cartoon. Good advice has been given though, I hope this doesn't turn into a problem for you.

Same here TJ, I had the pleasure of enduring being checked also and the jokes were nonstop. Rright when he checked me, I said 'WOA doc, aren't you supposed to be wearing gloves?' Without hesitation he responded 'gloves are for amateurs'

In August 2010, after having the same problem you described (which was a hemorrhoid), I saw a gastroenterologist, who set me up for a colonoscopy. They made me drink 3 liters of foul liquid the day before the procedure to "evacuate" everything. I had the procedure done and $1,400 dollars later, I had a non-serious polyp removed during it, and that was it. Obviously they saw the hemorrhoid in their search too.

Afterwards, it happened on very rare occasion (blood in the stool), but not nearly what it did before. But then again, I took them up on their advice on trying to eat more fiber and taking a fiber laxative for a little while. They informed me that it can start becoming bothersome after a harder than usual bowel movement that causes minor tearing which breaks open the hemorrhoid and releases the blood into your stool.

It happens even more rarely lately, most of the time just a tiny bit one random day and that's all. Just listen to your doctors and they'll get you taken care of.
