Wow! Looks great mike! Looks like we all have some other options for anodizing now for a more elaborate look.

What a marmoreal Zaser design finish:drool:. A rare chameleon-like species from outer laser space has landed to this forum:). Now let's have someone to buy this and make an epic build out of it!

Re: Blue/Black Marble Anodized Zaser

Thanks for all the great comments guys! This one will be for sale soon. It also has our new 5A switch with silver contacts in it as well! We are waiting for a shipment of the custom contact boards for our switches so we will be able to install them in all of our hosts.

Re: Blue/Black Marble Anodized Zaser

WOW! I've yet to become a fan of chrome hosts, unless it was black chrome. I had never even heard of anodizing, until I saw this. That looks incredible! I would definitely want this on a custom 445nm build. However, you should come up with designs similar to this in other colors.

I really like the black all over it (marble effect), but I would hate to have a blue host emitting a red laser. It just wouldn't look right. I googled a few examples of different colors of "marble paint", just to further show you what I mean, as I don't know how well I'm explaining it. --

BLUE MARBLE (What you're using)

GREEN MARBLE (Very attractive for 532nm builds)

YELLOW MARBLE (You're already getting an expensive yellow laser. Add this incredible custom color to it's host!)

SILVER MARBLE (Possibly a default color of marble?)

Now, as I said above, I don't know anything about anodizing, these are just my thoughts on figuring out how to get the above hosts, in different colors of marble. Because they do look very nice. +1 Rep!

Love it! Whenever I stop being lazy and decide to build my own laser I think I'll be getting one of these hosts!

Re: Blue/Black Marble Anodized Zaser

If you buy one of DTR's modules with the driver already attached, they are very easy builds. Just solder the leads, put the module in, tighten the set screw, put the focus knob on, install batteries, and you're good to go.

Re: Blue/Black Marble Anodized Zaser

We can do many different colors:

http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/m...ng-marble-anodizing-pro-grade-dyes-87389.html

This first one is just an example of what we can do with hosts. Figured blue is most popular, so best to start with blue.

Although, we may make a set of Zasers that are representative of the most common colors: red, blue, green, purple... ;)

Oh, sweet! I thought this was "debuting" your marble series, and it had just come out. I didn't realize you already had a full set! But you hit exactly what I wanted, right on the head. They all look incredible. If I ever decide I want a custom build, I'll be sure to have whoever builds it, use one of your guy's hosts. Keep it up!

This is a debut of a full host, but the set is in the works as an example. We do custom hosts as well in any color combinations.
