asked Dr Chuck(AixiZ) about Am. lasers- he told me that the guy buys in bulk from him and just re-sells- not a dropsshipper-Geareb in korea does the same. So do I and many others. Like Jay- FP, Glenn, Radiant, etc.

About sKipKay-- just because some sellers say that the offer stuff that is 'kipkay suitable' does not MEAN they endorse or like or hang out with him ,etc. or have ever even met the guy!! Its JUST biz.

Looks like he's selling the same laser safety glasses as Radiant Electronics but for a little cheaper.

These glasses, if the same, are suitable for 445-532nm but DO NOT provide adequate protection at 405nm as advertised. For the price I would buy them again; cheapest I've found that actually work.

He's a youtube poster right? With videos about pot-modding and other basic stuff? But why all the hubbub about him? Why actually mention his stuff in an eBay listing? Is it really just that youtube kids hop on eBay trying to replicate his videos?

It don't get it. Was he / is he a member here? Why would it be such a status symbol to know him and hang out with him? Is he a web 2.0 celeb or something?

He buys from WL too. Just search him on youtube. It won't take long for you to find out why most of us don't like him.

Yes he is a member here, but not very active and AFAIK never helpful to anybody.
He did help LPF to get a lot of new members over the years--his only IMO redeeming quality.

His name gets used by sellers because people are looking to buy klipklay suitable lasers- not as an endorsement. You may have misunderstood my post entirely. He, in the past, has ignored basic safety practices and used the ideas and work of other and passed it off as his.

His voice is very smarmy..

on sites where you get paid for views of your videos he has made lot of $$$.

I agree. I didn't really mean anything negative by my comment. If I were selling laser components on ebay, honestly, I'd do the same thing; maybe guilty isn't the right word. I've sold on ebay for quite some time and understand the value of properly worded titles and descriptions.

I ordered from him over a month ago. Order arrived from North Carolina, shipping is outrageously expensive (gigs you on that) and it take forever to get the order. I do not recommend.

Well if the shipping wasn't so high I might buy from him again now that I know where he is. But, he needs to let you buy more without killing you on shipping.
