Aixiz






Anybody ever have issues with Aixiz? I put an order in for a 780nm laser module, got the module but it doesn't work. I've tried contacting them via the number in the shipment confirmation emails, but I always get their voicemail. I've left them numerous messages with no return call. It's only a $6 module, but it's the point behind it.
 
I'm sure once they get the message you will get taken care of.

The reputation of Aixiz is impeccable.

They usually fed ex replacements very quickly.

Are you sure it doesn't work... 780nm is very dim depending on the
power...:whistle:

I had purchased 10 modules from Aixis last year and 1 modules was
mechanically defective and 2 lens springs were missing... I asked if he
could replace the missing/defective parts..
2 weeks later I had received another complete 10pc of the Modules..
the guy is more than fair... I'd deal with him again...

I just looked at the site and the Laser Flare makes me laugh...
A $29.00 Dilda (with some line lenses) for $125.00 because it's
called a Laser Flare...:whistle:
A plane could only see it in the Fog... Oh... pilots don't see well
in the fog..:undecided:

The only way I could see a use is by diffusing the 200mW beam and
pointing it at rescuers to indicate your location... but not as a flare
shot into the air...:rolleyes:

AiXiz has always been good to me as well. Very few mistakes, taken care of promptly.

Hey that "flare" is a deal. They used to be over $200! :na:

I could be mistaking but that is not the DX dilda as the text suggest it is using only ONE battery (CR2), not two as the DX dilda.

Perhaps only the housing is the same, maybe they installed their own laser into it.

BTW, can someone explain what the hell is a "square silica gel pad" ?

The square silica pad was a matrix of rubber mounting positions for up to 110 8x13mm laser modules for the DIY hair restoration forums, using lasers for photostimulation. Before you laugh out loud, I have 4 patents in this area and lasers for hair growth has been cleared by the FDA.

Well OK, the part where it says that it hold laser modules - that's enough. :D

Okay, and what about that dillema (long forgotten) about the Dilda laser, does it use one or two CR2 batteries?
Because in your description is says one. Unlike exact same lasers sold all around (for $29, mind you).
