Addiction problems for me

Keep the good work up. Hold on. You must finish the treatment ! :gj:

Looks like you are doing great on the treatement, and seeing you are an honest and up front person, I have no doubts you'll pull through!

I may not be the best qualified person to hand out advice, but...

Y'know how people say "don't look back"? I think that's completely false.

DO look back, and see that dark side, that dark person that USED to be you... but it's not now, and never will be again!

Have a good one  and you know you can talk to all of us anytime! All the best wishes and most importantly, congratulations for coming this far! It's not a "long, opressive, distant and almost unreachable" journey anymore, is it? :D

That's so true, whenever I get a craving to use I just remember how sick I get the next day and how short lived the high is. Also how if I get caught while on probation I'm going straight to prison.

side note: I just got back from an AA meeting. We could barely find a parking spot and I was like "what the hell is going on here, this place is never this crowded", so we walk in and Ringo Star is up on the podium sharing his story. It was wild.

All the best in your recovery. Stick with it, especially when it seems impossible.

All I can say is stay away from the Crap as much as possible...

Good Luck. Sounds like you are doing well and have the strength to stay off substances----that is all it takes really---you are in charge of you. Work at making life be what you want it to be.---I second Jerry's advice.

Iv'e had it with Digital, and Iv'e given him a little 7 day holiday to contemplate his actions.

The guy is hell bent on annoying as many people as he possibly can.

Well, not any more.

Not on my watch.

20 days sober, doing great, thanks guys.

20 days is great! You've got to be felling pretty good. Hang in there and keep counting up those days. It will be a year or more before you know it.

[busting chops] 'Tis written "I've" as short for "I have" [\busting chops]

Hey can you remove all the Digital's trolling posts from this thread? It'd be great if we could just somehow get rid of all that and get back to cheering for Mo and his future success in his fight! :gh:

There was an error earlier when I tried.

I'll try again now.

EDIT , Done.

Further edit, he reported the post(s) saying he didn't start it, and he was "drawn into it" ?? so I've undeleted his post just so everyone can see it was indeed him that started it.
Unbelievable.

@ EF, merged your posts to tidy the thread up, not like you need the post count :p

No prob ped.. they were just noise anyway. I'm always game for that kind of entertainment, but it does get messy. Thanks for doing such a good job moderating!

He reported it while I was in the mod cp , 3 mins before the ban.

Yes I'm feeling fantastic. I have a degree in graphic design and since being down here I now have 4 people paying me 3-500$ each to make their sites. It's so exciting for me to start designing again. I had a bad craving yesterday, I was sitting on the curb out front of my house waiting for someone to come get me for a meeting. It triggered me because I used to sit either on the curb or in my car and look down the street for the dope boy to pull up. My heart started racing and palms started sweating. So I got up to go get a bottle of water inside and I just thought about what I have to look forward to. I thought about doing these websites for all of these people and how much fun it is. By the time I got inside to the kitchen I was feeling so uplifted and excited that I completely forgot about the craving.

Good times in the neighborhood.

I also went to a Phillies Marlins game the other day in Miami which was awesome. The Marlin's field has a retractable roof and some sort of super air conditioning system that made it almost too cold. I'm having much more fun being sober than waking up everyday, sick, spending all of my brainpower to think of ways to get dope. I feel free now.

First and foremost. Digital is the epitome of a troll. He needs to be permabanned. 110% of his posts are rude, hateful, trolling, instigating, or just down right ridiculousness. He hasn't made a single helpful post ever, and only posts negative things to try and get a rise out of people.

Secondly,

Joe Mo: I was addicted to Oxycontin for 2 years. I tried heroin a few times but could rarely find it. As you know Oxy's are just a "watered down" version of heroin. I have now been clean for 2 years.

But when I was addicted my life was in shambles and I got kicked out of my house many times, etc etc etc. But I will say this. I did suboxone treatment with group/individual therapy for over a year and it helped me SO MUCH. It was a great thing that helped me turn my life around. Like I said it's now been 2 years that I have been clean and I'm still going strong. I don't even think about pills anymore.

So you are doing the right thing by getting help, and just know that you CAN and WILL get clean if you put your all into it. You have to stay positive and take it day by day but it's not impossible (like many think) to turn your life around and get clean.

Good luck to you Joe Mo and let us know how it goes.

Also, you can PM me if you want any of the (little) advice I can give you.
